How LookFreedom works

One API holds every user's data. The models live in a separate service that sees only what a request needs, through short-lived links. Pick a scenario, or hover any part.

Private storageData store

Photos and renders as private files, opened only through signed links.

A garment by photo

From a photo to a tagged item in the wardrobe.

What was built
  • A wardrobe added by photo, tagged automatically and confirmed by the person
  • A daily look from the weather, the calendar and the region
  • Layers planned for each part of the day: street, car, office
  • An avatar from a selfie or a stand-in, with try-on in poses
  • A stylist chat that shows its sources and what it knows about you
  • Friends, a feed and messages, plus a back office with moderation
How it was made
Rules firstOutfits are picked by plain, tested code. A language model only re-ranks when someone types a wish, and only among looks the rules allow.
PrivacyCalendar titles stay on the phone, photos are private files, and every endpoint is tested so one person cannot read another's data.
CostEvery model call is metered, with daily limits and an off switch per feature.
StatusIn testing on Android, not in the stores yet. The phone screens are the app's design screens with a generated model.
